For her flagship project, Catherine tackled a real-world challenge: reducing medication errors among nurses. Working with a nurse as her subject matter expert, she designed a scenario-based learning experience that guides nurses through critical thinking and best practices in medication administration.
She brought the project to life with strong visual design and AI-generated images that simulate realistic clinical environments. The branching structure reinforces decision-making and accountability, blending instructional theory with engaging, real-life context.
From Uncertain Path to Confident Designer
Before joining the bootcamp, Catherine was working in corporate training but felt unsure how to fully pivot into instructional design. She knew she had relevant experience, but the process of building a portfolio and navigating the job market felt overwhelming.
