Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies peckacademy.com uses, why, and the controls you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What we set, and when
Strictly necessary / functional storage. These support core site features and are not used for tracking:
pa-region— a cookie set on your first request that records only whether your visit appears to originate from a region with opt-in consent rules (valueeuorrow, nothing else). It expires after 24 hours.pa-consent— browser storage that remembers your analytics choice, so we do not ask again on every visit.pa-survey-*— if you take one of our surveys, your in-progress answers are saved in your own browser so a connection drop never loses them. They are not tracking identifiers.
The self-guided tour. If you register for the self-guided tour, or
open the tour from a link in one of our emails, we set a pa_tour cookie that
records your email address and first name in a signed form your browser cannot
read. It saves you registering again on a later visit, and it expires after one
year. Unlike the storage above, this one does identify you to us: while you are
in the tour, we record how far through it you have reached against your
subscriber record, so we know how much of it you have seen. Clearing cookies for
this site removes it. We also keep a pa-tour-progress entry in your browser's
own storage so that closing the tab does not lose your place; it holds no email
address.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics). With your consent — see the regional rules below — we load Google Analytics 4, which sets _ga and _ga_* cookies to help us understand which pages and content help visitors. We use analytics for measurement only: ad storage, ad personalization, and ad user-data signals are disabled everywhere, we run no advertising, and we never sell your data.
Cookieless page counts (Vercel Web Analytics). We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, browser storage, or persistent identifiers, so it runs regardless of your analytics choice.
Embedded content. The application form on our apply page is provided by Typeform inside an embedded frame; Typeform may set its own cookies, governed by Typeform's privacy policy.
Your choices, by region
- If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland (or your location is unknown to us), analytics cookies are off by default. You will see a small banner offering the choice; nothing analytics-related loads unless you select "Allow analytics."
- Everywhere else, analytics loads by default, and you can opt out at any time with the Cookie Preferences control below or in the site footer.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends the GPC signal and you have made no explicit choice here, we treat it as an opt-out and load no analytics.
Declining — at any time, in any region — takes effect immediately: analytics stops and existing _ga* cookies are expired. Withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie Preferences control below (also in the footer of every page) to reopen the choice at any time.
