Before joining the program, Jeremy was nearing his 20th year in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a medic and gradually took on responsibilities in learning and development.
As his military career was winding down, Jeremy faced a pivotal decision: continue working long shifts in high-stress environments or pivot to a career with better work-life balance and long-term potential. After discovering instructional design content online, he recognized it as a perfect fit (his 'aha moment') and committed fully to the career shift.

His flagship project is a fully animated Vyond learning experience that teaches nurses about transmission-based illness precautions. The module cleverly uses visual storytelling and character-driven scenarios to guide learners through realistic decision points.
One unique design element is a subtle visual hint system that helps learners identify the correct actions after making mistakes, a great solution that reinforces learning without breaking immersion.
From Medic to Instructional Designer
Thanks to the skills, tools, and confidence he built in the program, Jeremy successfully transitioned from the military into a civilian instructional design role.
He is now an Instructional Designer at Educology Solutions, where he puts his new skills to use creating engaging learning experiences. The combination of hands-on tool training and mentorship helped Jeremy hit the ground running in his new role, bridging the gap between his past experience in medical education and the demands of corporate instructional design.
